Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash
What is the Difference between Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash? Which is Better?
In this video, I discuss Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash and their differences, as well as Bitcoin SV.
Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash – What’s the Difference?
Bitcoin (BTC) is limited by transaction processing time, an issue that has caused rifts between factions within the bitcoin mining and developing communities.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) was started by bitcoin miners and developers concerned about the future of the bitcoin cryptocurrency, and its ability to scale effectively. While bitcoin blocks are limited to 1 MB, BCH blocks are 8 MB.
Bitcoin Cash was created as a result of a hard fork in the Bitcoin network.
The Bitcoin Cash network supports a larger block size than Bitcoin (currently 32MB as opposed to Bitcoin’s 1MB).
Later on, Bitcoin Cash forked into Bitcoin SV due to differences in how to carry on its developments.
That’s Bitcoin Cash in a nutshell.
Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash – Which is Better?
I consider Bitcoin (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV) to be failed forks and failed projects. As a result, I own only Bitcoin (BTC) itself.
BTC wins over BCH and BSV by having:
1) the largest market cap
2) the best trading volume and liquidity (required by large institutional investors)
3) the most well-known brand
4) the highest hash rate (and hence highest network security)
5) the most full nodes (and most decentralized)
6) the most developers
7) the most miners.
As a result of these network effects, it will be impossible for either BCH or BSV to ever catch up with BTC.
